De nombreux patients font face à des obstacles pour accéder à la nourriture, notamment la stigmatisation, l'isolement social, les problèmes de santé mentale, la pauvreté et Delta Bingo and Gaming permettent à Réseau Access Network d'atténuer un bon nombre de ces obstacles afin que les patients aient accès à une alimentation appropriée, ce qui est essentiel à l'efficacité de leur traitement médical ainsi qu'à la santé et au bien-être général. Le succès continu de ce programme est rendu possible grâce à l'aide de l'OCGA et Delta Bingo and Gaming.

Many patients face barriers to accessing food including stigma, social isolation, mental health issues, poverty, and homelessness. Delta Bingo and Gaming enables Réseau Access Network to alleviate many of these barriers so patients have access to proper nutrition which is vital to the efficaciousness of their medical treatment as well as overall health and well-being. The ongoing success of this program is made possible thanks to help from @OCGA and Delta Bingo and Gaming

Réseau ACCESS Network will continue to offer Harm Reduction, Testing and Support services to individuals throughout the province-wide shut down during the next two weeks, Réseau ACCESS Network will be adhering to the provincial government’s lockdown mandate and public health guidelines by offering services and support by phone and through videoconferencing. Staff will also continue meet with individuals through in-person appointments and walk-ins as needed. Note the Offices... are closed for winter holidays December 24th from noon until 10am January 4th January 4th until January 9th there are no changes to the hours of the Main floor offices. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Réseau ACCESS Network continuera à offrir des services de réduction des méfaits, de dépistage et de soutien aux personnes aux personnes de 16 ans et plus pendant toute la durée du confinement à l’échelle provinciale du 26 décembre au 8 janvier. Au cours des deux prochaines semaines, Réseau ACCESS Network respectera le décret de confinement émis par le gouvernement provincial, ainsi que les lignes directrices établies par le bureau de santé publique, en offrant des services et du soutien par voie virtuelle, par téléphone et par vidéoconférence. Le personnel continuera aussi d’évaluer le besoin de rencontrer les clients en personne, offrant des rendez-vous et recevant certains clients sans rendez-vous selon les besoins. Veuillez noter que les bureaux seront fermés pour les vacances d'hiver le 24 décembre de midi à 10h le 4 janvier. Du 4 janvier au 9 janvier, aucun changement est apporté aux heures d'ouverture du bureau de l'étage principal.

In response to the current status of Coronavirus (covid-19), Réseau ACCESS Network’s main office at 111 Larch Street, 4th floor is now closed due to the lockdown of the St Andrew’s Place building. To the best of our abilities, we will continue to offer harm reduction supplies (as available) through the Medina Lane space (across from Memorial Park) within the St Andrew’s Place building between the hours of 10am-12pm and 1:00 to 4:00. Regular street outreach services will be l...imited, and available between 5:00 to 8:00 pm. If you are in need of supplies but are unwell, please connect with one of the Outreach Workers by calling 249-885-1448. If you are living with HIV and/or Hepatitis C, you can still connect to one of the Support Workers by calling 705-618 2437. We encourage everyone to take the necessary precautionary measures, including hand-washing and social-distancing and hope to continue to serve you in better times ahead. November 20th is Trans Day of Remembrance. Today we honour the folks that we've lost and we reaffirm our support for those who are still fighting for a safer world.

(message en français ci-dessous) From November 25th to December 10th, many organizations and groups highlight the 16 Days of Action for the Elimination of Gender-Based Violence. This international advocacy campaign highlights such days as the International Day for the Elimination of Gender-Based Violence (25 November), the International Day of Women Human Rights Defenders (29 November), the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (December 6), and I...nternational Human Rights Day (December 10). This year, organizations working in ending gender-based violence in Sudbury and Districts are joining forces to gather positive words and messages of strength, hope and resiliency. From October 28th to November 18th, we are asking our partners, clients, and the general public to submit positive written messages. These words will be used to design a piece of artwork, which will be unveiled on December 10th, International Human Rights Day, on social media. Positive words and messages can be submitted to the following email address : [email protected] before November 18th, 2020.
