Thanks for joining! As stress about Climate Change increases, Resilience is a topic that is being discussed with increasing frequency. A significant concern around our changing climate is uncertainty about the future. We don't want things to change, at least not too much! Resilience is about how much pressure a system can withstand before it changes states. When this happens, it's usually outside of our control and not always positive. We all know that accepting change is go...od. However, we CAN make changes NOW that will help guide us towards a future that works with natural systems, where people and communities prosper. We can shift to a future that is more inclusive and just. We can do this by building resilience into systems we want to see flourish, like our Natural Systems, our Local Economies, and Inclusive Communities. Many of the resilience-based solutions also help mitigate CO2 and are the foundation for a more sustainable lifestyle! We're just starting out on building this organization, and we hope you'll join us. There's a lot of work to do. Please check out the website, and follow us on Twitter at @Resilience613 - and PM us if you're interested in pitching in. We are just beginning to build - so new energy and ideas are very welcome!

Canadians are spending more than ever on groceries, and the market is diversifying in response to demand. Will this add too much pressure to local small farms and farmers' markets?

Deforestation and biodiversity loss are greatly increasing our chances of coming into contact with novel pathogens.
