Look at that ink clearance! This is one of the most saturated tattoos weve had come through the door. It has been touched up over the years which just means more layered ink. Often people think these types of tattoo are impossible to remove and in any reasonable amount of time. Thank you Brad for continuing to trust the process, we are almost there!

Shocking, we know! BUT, we feel its very important to go over the normal healing vs. your laser tech had no clue what they were doing. Lasering tattoos does put a lot of heat into the skin, which can cause blistering ( especially with colour ink ). The area can swell and feel tender. You are responsible for the post care, which plays a big part in your healing, including keeping the area cool and dry, not irritating the area, no sun/heat exposure, etc. BUT, you a...lso need to know when it has nothing to do with post care. This patient was treated at another clinic here in Saskatoon and after a few sessions, ended up in the ER with 3rd degree burns and needing a skin graft. Just because you have a good laser, it does not mean you know what you are doing. Besides our protocol & experience, we also use common sense. You should never stack pulses repeatedly. You should never use settings that are clearly too high just because you assume that will shatter more ink faster. You should never be left with holes in your skin!!!!! Besides several other you should nevers, you absolutely should never be told that this is your fault when CLEARLY the tech had no clue what theyre doing This absolutely gives laser tattoo removal a bad rep ( which is why we felt the need to make this post ) so please, educate yourself, ask questions and trust your gut! If you think something is off, get a second, third and fourth opinion. See more
