RESULTS Victoria gathered at the BC Legislature March 24th for Light the World RED for TB Day. The fountain didn't show red until dark, so pale pink at first! MLA Sonia Furstenau introduced Anita Mark with RESULTS Victoria in the BC Legislature today: S. Tuberculosis, or TB, is not only a cause of poverty it's one of the top ten causes of death in the worl...d. Anita never fails to inspire with her efforts to raise awareness about the causes of poverty and present the best solutions for combating. Yesterday was World Tuberculosis Day, and thanks to the efforts of Anita and the RESULTS Canada volunteers, Victoria joined cities all over the south Van Isle BCCIC world and put the spotlight on TB by lighting up landmarks in red, including the ceremonial entrance and the fountain in front of the Legislature.
