2020 was a year to forget, 2021 seems to be heading that way too. In an attempt to brighten everyone's mood Resurgam Youth Initiative will be making 2022 calendars with uplifting pictures sent to us by our young people (with their parents consent of course). We require Thirteen pictures in total that will be included on the calendar, these could range from fun in the snow or how you made the most of a lockdown birthday. The calendar will be released on sale in a desktop and... wall calendar format, with all proceeds going to Resurgam Youth Initiative. If you would like to submit an entry for consideration, pm the page or contact one of our youth work team. If you submit an entry please include the name of your child as all the pictures that are chosen will win a prize. The closing date for all entries is May 31st 2021. Good luck See more

https://youtu.be/wRYfw5hIWwM Many children with autism are especially sensitive to texture, making mask-wearing especially challenging. To help ease their experience, put a mask on yourself, and remind children: We wear masks to keep others safe from germs that might make us sick. Masks should cover our nose, mouth, and chin.... Practicing wearing a mask can make it easier. The more we practice, the easier it can be. Then tell children that Julia is also practicing wearing her mask, and so is her bunny friend Fluffster! Watch this video together, then try some of the strategies: Put masks on a stuffed animal or doll. Practice wearing masks at home for a short period of time, and work up to longer periods. You can do this by counting, like Julia’s daddy did, or by using a timer. Let children decorate their mask so it feels special.

If you are identified as a close contact and need to self isolate, you should go home, and stay at home.
