A Holy Place A Catholic Cemetery is a holy place. It is consecrated by the Church and dedicated to God as a place of prayer and worship. It holds the bodies of the faithful departed, once temples of the Holy Spirit, until the Lord comes.

This year’s All Souls’ Day Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica by His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins on November 2, 2020 at 7:30 am. Please note that this Mass will also be archived and accessible on the Archdiocese of Toronto YouTube page for the faithful to view later in the day. It also includes a tag identifying the location of the grave so that in the event the wreath is displaced, it can be relocated properly.... Wreaths may be placed on gravesites from November 1, 2020 to April 1, 2021. Families are responsible for removing wreaths by April 1 for spring cleanup.
