We believe in offering online tutoring at reasonable prices to help elementary and high school students through online learning. Retain Tutoring is offering Zoom information sessions for high school students to learn more about the Ontario University application process for only $5 (and half the proceeds will be donated to Feed Ontario). Retain Tutoring is a tutoring group started by undergraduate students at Ontario Universities to help elementary and high school students succeed at online learning. They understand the difficulties of ...being a grade 12 student right now and applying to Ontario universities without many of the usual resources students have to help them choose where and how to apply. These university students who recently went through applying to universities themselves are offering Zoom information sessions on applying to Ontario universities, and they recommend them for grade 11 and 12 students. In these sessions, they will answer questions such as: how to know which universities to apply to; how to know which programs to apply to; how to know how many programs to apply to; what a supplemental application is; what early acceptance means; what highschool marks matter, and more. They will also offer contacts to various Ontario undergraduate students in specific programs if you have questions about a particular program! 50% of these sessions' proceeds are to be donated to the "Feed Ontario" COVID-19 emergency response fund. This organization helps feed Ontario and support food banks as they struggle through these difficult times. A ticket to one of these sessions costs $5, and these sessions are taking place on November 1 and November 8 from 8:00-9:30 PM with a half an hour question and answer period.
