Ah, the irony of creating a workshop on Upper Back Relief for Desk Jockeys... My neck and shoulders are not happy with being hunched over my desk for too long! Luckily, I know what to do about it! ;-)

I'm not much of an adrenaline junkie so I'm far less likely to stop to take photos on steeper terrain while I try to keep up with my family (and still end up at the bottom in one piece!) Moments like this are what make up the highlights of my day though. Views that take your breath away and glimpses of fluidity in movement when everything comes together for a brief time.

Yoga and Mindful Mobility... ~ A "Grease the Wheels" Head to Toe Tune Up! ~ This session will provide a more general, full body practice with a focus on keeping things moving well, building support and unwinding any accumulated tension. There will be an opportunity to incorporate any personal requests for things that need attention and to customize the class as needed. * Class size is limited and updated guidelines from public health and WorkSafe BC are carefully followed. Thursdays from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at The Yoga Studio (37776 2nd Ave, Squamish) Dates: 6 weeks starting January 14. (Jan. 14 - Feb. 18) Cost: $110 for the full series. Pre-registration only. Shaking off the restlessness and lack of focus by escaping outside into this glorious day. When in doubt, go out! Prioritizing sunshine, fresh air and self care over the to-do list. It helps me every time. How do you shift things when you need it?
Play. We all need more of that. I look forward to this class every week. Some much needed play time and fun this afternoon to shake off all the tension and unwanted stress these days. There's nothing like doing things that challenge you to get you out of your head and into your body.
