The Credit Union Foundation of BC offers bursary opportunities to all BC residents based on an individual’s demonstrated financial need 3. Member Rewards are a way RevCU distributes annual profit, based on interest earning and interest accruing accounts. Deposit Accounts which earn interest are paid a reward calculated by multiplying the interest earned in the year by the reward rate determined for the year. Similarly, when paying interest on a loan or mortgage the reward rate is multiplied by the interest paid to arrive at your rebate for the year! Rewards are cash paid into the Member’s Rewards account!

RevCU and RCU Insurance will have some adjusted office hours this week. Make arrangements for your banking and insurance if you need to get into our offices this week. Closing early on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas and Boxing Day.

RCU Insurance Services Ltd. will be closing its office for deep cleaning until 10 AM on Monday December 21, 2020. One of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19. We’ve been in contact with Interior Health and currently following their instructions. We will continue to serve clients remotely throughout this closure. Revelstoke Credit Union wants to assure its Members and clients that staff strictly follows mask and distancing protocols with a daily health check in before being allowed in to the office. Our staff are not working outside of their departments in efforts to prevent any other infection.

'Canadian Pacific' is an original work by stained glass artist Kelly Hutcheson of MTN Made Studio. The inspiration behind this large-scale piece stems from Reve...lstoke's deep connections to the railway. This large-scale Art Alleries commission challenged Hutcheson, known locally for her smaller intricate pieces of bears and mountainscapes, to create something on a much larger scale built to withstand the elements. Important announcement from RCU CEO, Roberta Bobicki to retire May 1, 2021. October 6, 2020 Revelstoke, BC: Alan Chell, Chair of the Revelstoke Credit Union Board of Directors announces that the Board has received a notice of retirement from our CEO, Roberta Bobicki, effective May 1, 2021. Roberta has had an outstanding 40-year career with RCU, and she has played a key role in growing our organization to be one of the leading models for how independent Credit Unions sho...uld serve their members and communities. We will greatly miss her wealth of knowledge, skill and experience and are grateful for her many contributions. At the same time, we are pleased to announce that Michelle Hardy has been appointed as the new CEO, effective May 1, 2021. Michelle has been a valued RCU employee for the past 15 years and is currently the Chief Financial Officer. She has worked closely with Roberta for the past 5 years and is well prepared for her new role as CEO.
