The Revelstoke Child Care Resource and Referral is celebrating the quality child care choices in Revelstoke! May is a time to highlight and celebrate the child care professionals and early childhood educators who are the workforce behind the workforce. Revelstoke has 16 Licensed Family Child Care Facilities, 4 Licensed Group Child Care Centres including two $10 a Day Childcare BC sites. Revelstoke has 252 Licensed Child Care spaces and a Licensed Preschool with 20 spaces (for two classes per week) in our beautiful community. Plus there are also over 65 Licensed After School spaces! The Revelstoke Child Care Society's Child Care Resource and Referral program knows that our community is fortunate to have an amazing team of child care profess...ionals! This includes Registered License Not Required Child Care, Licensed Family Child Care, Licensed Group Child Care, Preschool and After School Care. Throughout the challenging times of the pandemic, the child care sector has been recognized and highlighted as an essential service. In the words of Chief Joe Pierre, "the essential, essential service." Thank you to all of the educators of our little ones! You are truly valued and appreciated!
