Our buffalo, beef cows and lamb are all only ever grass fed. All our animals roam the pasture year round. They munch on grass in the field through the summer and are fed high quality local hay in the winter. When animals are only grass fed it takes longer for them to grow to full size than it would if they were finished on grain, which is the conventional way to raise meat in North America. Our laying hens receive grain free from gmo’s.... Our only ever grass fed buffalo meat and pastures raised eggs are available on our website. Lamb will be available in 2021.

Anyone else feel like they are holding their breath to see what the holidays will be like this year? Instead of waiting and wondering, I’m trying to make some definite plans that I can count on NOT being impacted by covid. I’m shopping local and trying to support other small businesses and local farms.... I’m attempting to make some photo books for my kids and family to have and be able to cherish special memories even when we can’t all be together. And instead of counting on a big special dinner, we are treating ourselves more often this Christmas season, enjoying more pepperoni and steaks and microwave pumpkin pie (rv life). Anything else I should add to my list?

I kind of miss the snow... I know, I know.... we will have lots ahead! But, in these covid times when we are nearing a Christmas that will likely look a little different than many of us had hoped... the snow makes it look more magical than the mud and ice! With so many things looking different - hello tenderloin Christmas dinner instead of turkey - and outdoor Christmas tree instead of indoor rv tree what are you doing to make ‘different’ special?... Anyone else switching up Christmas dinner?
