8 AM classes are cancelled - Wed Jan 13. Everyone is working as fast as they can to get this problem fixed so I haven't cancelled 9 AM yet. Stay tuned for that update.
NSPI is shutting off power to the building tomorrow at 6AM so we can get the transformer changed! There will be no 6 am class. I hate having to write this because of how long we were closed and now this annoyance! I’m not going to cancel 8 am yet. Fingers crossed!
We hate having to write this update but we still don't have power. NSPI is shutting the power off tonight, again, so the electrician can work on and fix the problem. I truly am praying that the gym will be open for 6AM class tomorrow. HEIDI will be doing a VIRTUAL 20/20/20 class tonight on our our private member page which is Boot Camp/Core/Yoga! If you haven't done this class with Heidi yet, I really hope you do tonight. Its a calorie blasting workout and a nice wind down stretch at the end.

Classes are cancelled tonight. This is very frustrating but we have NSPI and our own electrician working on the problem as best they can. We do have partial lights but we don’t have any power to the heat pump which means we don’t have AC or air circulation, so we can’t run any classes Patti recorded an awesome virtual clsss this AM at 9AM and I’m going to post a link to one of Bea’s yoga classes to replace 7pm yoga tonight. If you were planning to work out tonight please take the time to do one at home you won’t regret it! Fingers crossed everything is fixed for tomorrow.

Effective immediately, the gym is closed for 2 weeks. Of course, we are writing this with heaviest of hearts. We know everyone wants answers right now. Please give us 24-48 hours to finalize all the plans that have been in the works for this 2nd closure! In March, we had no business plans for a pandemic! Fortunately, now we do Stay tuned RevFit!

Nordic Walking Trail walk Saturday November 7 at 10 am. Meet in the parking lot of the Heritage Trail off of Bissett Road in Cole Harbour. The parking lot is a ...1.2 km drive on the left from the intersection of Cole Harbour and Bissett Roads. Cost is $5 per person. Weather is going to be great. Please note that this post has been updated as the original story was not accurate. A person who was in a 5:15 small group premium class this evening got a message during class that their daughter’s best friend was in contact with someone who had COVID. The member and the daughter were not in contact with the person who tested positive. ... This person and the daughter and her friend are not experiencing symptoms, but we are not taking any risks and chose to close the studio for the evening for cleaning. This does not mean there was a Covid-19 exposure at the gym; we are simply taking precautionary measures. We are now cleaning the gym thoroughly and will open in the AM as normal. Remember to review our new screening questions before coming to the gym.

Were you at any of the locations during the noted times on the NS GOV website that have had possible exposures? 4. Do you have a fever? 5. Do you have a cough? 6. Do you have 2 or more of the following: sore throat, runny nose, headache or shortness of breath? 6. Have you been in contact with anyone with one of the symptoms in #5, or two or more of the symptoms in #6, in the past 14 days? - If yes and if that person is waiting for test results do not come to the gym until test results are back and are negative & we recommend to call 811 to see if you should be self isolating -If yes and if that person is waiting to get tested do not come back to the gym until they have been tested and are negative & we recommend you call 811 to see if you should be self isolating

I am in ZOOM training all day today! I’m not used to being at my computer all day - what an energy kill. I dragged myself off the couch and did a 30 min KB workout at lunch & I feel so much better! #noexcuses

BIG NEWS! 5 new classes are being added to the schedule starting this Saturday - Oct 31 (trick or treat RevFit!) These are being added to solve the following: - Waitlists in the M-F AM classes (notably Wed) - SAT AM waitlist... - Requested evening boot camp - Requested Fri night class to return - Need a 3rd AM weightlifting class To add more classes, some classes need to be moved as we are dealing with the inability to do back to back classes because of COVID protocol. We need to split up some Combo classes so we can run 2 classes during that time slot - one spin and one boot camp. NEW CLASSES are: 8 AM Mon 40 SPIN 8 AM Wed Weightlifting Friday 9 AM Strength & Stretch Friday Night 6PM Boot Camp and Sat 8 AM Boot Camp Everything is in mindbody! Take a few mins to learn the new schedule. These are some big changes and we understand that it will take some time to get everyone on their new schedule. As always, THANK YOU to all of our members! We are OVERJOYED to be adding more classes to our schedule to accommodate you. RevFit is HEATING up this fall and we are so proud of everyone who is taking control of their fitness & health. NOTE - Because of the changes, you might be scheduled in a new class. Eg. Mon at 9 AM is now Cycle & Stretch with Jen Hogg, so if you were signed up for the old 9 AM class, you are STILL booked for that same time slot in the new class.

For anyone that did not make it to class today here is our workout so you can do it from the comfort of your home at whatever time works for you 4 sets will get you to the total, it you prefer to do it all at once fill ur boots but do all one superset before moving on to the next section. 100 jumps squats then 100 push-ups or the way I did it 25 of each 4 times and then go to the 80 set!
