In early September I posted about a beautiful young mother that trusted me to do her eyebrows and upper eyelash enhancement just days before starting her aggressive cancer treatment. She sent me this picture today, her hair has been gone for a few weeks but her brows are just starting to shed now. We will do her touchup once all of the nightmares are over. You know how sometimes when you meet someone you just have this connection? She is so full of life, positivity, energy... and beauty. Throughout this pandemic when I’ve been a little low or having a hard time I have often thought of her and what she is dealing with with her three little babies (one that was just five weeks old when she started treatment. ) If she can keep her chin up and keep powering through this bizarre world we are living in I can certainly buck up and put a smile on my face as well. This past Sunday I received an email. It was from a concerned sister because her 35 year old, mother of 3 little girls, sibling is going to be starting aggressive chemotherapy this coming Friday. Then she brought flowers to the appointment. Who would be thinking of THAT at a time like THIS? ... Often there isn’t much time between when you first receive a diagnosis and start treatment.
