LASER HAIR REMOVAL Since I've had so many inquiries on how it all works, let me give you the lowdown! Prior to your treatment you want to stop waxing (with your last wax being at least 4 weeks prior). We want the root of the hair follicle to be present at the time of your treatment - that is what the laser is targeting. You CAN shave as needed.... SHAVE the treatment area 12-24 hours prior to your appointment, as close to the skin as possible (we want the energy from the laser delivered to the root of the hair). After your treatment the hair will still "grow" like normal for one to two weeks before it begins to naturally shed out. You can still shave as needed. After the shedding process you will be virtually hair-free until the next cycle of hair begins to grow in. Hair will grow in slower and less hair will grow back with each and every treatment!
