Checking out the new machine tools...

Our "NEW" Gildemeister NEF 720 arrived today at our shop!! 2 days before schedule! We took it out of the container and craned it into place in it's new home..our machine shop Hugh THANK YOU to BAVARIA SHIPPING from Nürnberg, Germany who organized this transport and took care of the container loading - GREAT JOB!! There will be a few days of set up and re-assembly. It will be fully in service by the end of next week....send us your work as our capacity increased again!!

1st step completed! The lathe is safely loaded on the truck! Great job by the crane operator on completing the squeeze between the buildings! Tomorrow the lathe is unloaded in Hamburg and snugly fit into the container.

Yesterday we prepared an NEF720 for it's journey to Calgary here in Öhringen, Germany. Today it's journey starts: crane loading it onto a truck, 650km drive to Hamburg to be loaded in a container and than with the ship to Montreal. The last leg will be by rail and if everything goes smooth, it will be landed in our shop in 20 days...
