~~ WE do some pretty incredible Forest Weddings @ Sue Girard Wedding Officiant & Celebrant ... ~~

When you are considering your options for hiring someone to marry you ... please remember that different people will have different roles depending on their Title. We try to advertise as true to who we are and what we deliver in terms of Services as we can. I am an Officiant and Celebrant and also a Reverend ... therefore, I can perform most any Ceremony but all will hold a Spiritual component which could be in the Forest, on a beach, a dock, an island ... in nature, a small... country church, a backyard, a Resort and could include a nice closing blessing to any and all types of religion-based ceremonies in between including Buddhist, Traditional Christian, Hindu, Celtic Handfasting, First Nations blessings to name but a few ... in turn, a Marriage Commissioner is equivalent to a Justice of the Peace -- JP -- which is the old Court House Civil Ceremony and they do not or should not advertise nor do they have much of a range in terms of Ceremonies and must legally stick to a basic Standard ceremony with no religious or spiritual content. Also please remember that a Celebrant works with you on all aspects of the Ceremony from the first meeting right through to a night before Rehearsal and day of the Wedding ceremony and the filing of all the Official Documents in a timely fashion. Our fee includes all of this as a rule and we usually tend to be about 5% of the total cost of your entire Wedding. WE are much less than any of the other Services from photographers, rings, wedding dress, wedding party clothing, catering, location, honeymoon, etc: WE often hear comments like: we are on a budget, or we just want a small wedding, or there are just a few guests, or we just want a quick wedding. All of these comments equate to this: we don't want to spend much on the Ceremony or Officiant. So please let us remind you that without us ... there is no wedding ... no legal Ceremony ... and no Marriage. WE take great pride in what we do and work hard to deliver a magical, mystical, personal and memorable ceremony for the Bride and Groom and their families. If you want simple, cheap and generic then you might be best to hire a Marriage Commissioner who will deliver just that. Cookie-cutter ceremonies at a lesser fee. The choice is entirely up to you.
