For those of you who joined me in the Sugar a fast- we are day 2! Lots of learning, breathing and turning to Jesus already. Did you know that your body can go through withdrawal symptoms when detoxing off sugar. Herxheimer reaction, the formal name for detox symptoms, keto flu or Candida die-off is a real thing. Shouldn’t that tell us something? Our bodies are addicted to sugar! Even if you aren’t doing the full fast- please remember, we don’t fast to lose weight-... we fast so we can draw close to God and intercede for others! Happy New Year! As I sit here and ponder how I can help my community and myself this year, I want to invite you to join me in getting healthy and whole!
