In April, a number of Rex Employees approached management wishing to come to the aid of front line workers in Health Care. Employees were willing to knit reusable cloth masks for use within our plant; This enabled Rex to donate its stock of N95 masks to William Osler Hospital in Brampton. Further to this, employees made donations to the CanadaHelps COVID-19 Healthcare & Hospital Fund (which was a fully matched charity), as well as Sunnybrook Foundation's COVID-19 Response Campaign. Management matched all donations, rounding out the contribution to $10,000 between the two charities. With the matching committed by the charities, the impact reached nearly $20,000!
