Ready for black black paint and a few details, then mount it onto a cool base

I finished carving this bear. Now I just need to apply the wood preservative and some boiled linseed oil. It'll be here long after I'm gone, says the happy client .

Going to start carving this old growth Douglas Fir . I love the way this wood finishes, it's got character !

Started carving this Raven @ the Woodking
