So this happened at my parents this last week. Discovered a bunch of rot beneath a window because of missing drip cap. It’s important to make sure there is no opportunity for water to enter your siding or everything will rot. Anyways, after the hassle of getting out one of those new plastic windows, it was simply a matter of replacing the framing, sheathing, tar paper, vinyl siding, window, spray foam insulation, caulking, interior insulation, poly, drywall, mud and tape. A lot of work, but the exterior looks good as new!

Installed vinyl tile for a client today. Toilet leaked and caused the subfloor to swell, displacing the original tile. (Avoid installing tile on particle board if you can) Thankfully, vinyl tile is a great, cost effective alternative. It comes in multiple styles, has waterproof options, and is flexible and easy to install!

Shift happens... Well, sometimes it’s just caused by leaks. Regardless of how your wall gets damaged, we can be there to make it disappear :)

A quick and last minute change to a bathroom reno. Insulation and vapour barrier were added for better sound proofing and moisture protection.
