Free Lab Day 9 Update: Students crowded around our concrete delivery truck like kids on Christmas morning! Day 9 saw our hoops set into their footings... a big day for the Demetreous Lane Community Garden! . This day also saw plans developed for the "rooms" within the hoops, the garden beds filled with soil, a bench built and a sign constructed! . Free Lab Day 5 Update: Today the team completed construction of all the garden boxes and got them properly situated and leveled on site. Then we got to work on leveling the pathways that will be meandering through the garden. First day of our Free Lab LOVE 30 was a total success!! Day 1 included site tours, design charrettes, First Aid training, and a visit to the LOVE 15 Free Lab that was completed at Harbour View Elementary in 2012.
