My plant journey has been very intertwined with my mental health. I have found peace and solace, passion and happiness, fulfillment in plants and these past months, in selling plants and sharing cuttings with fellow plant lovers in this beautiful community has made the journey that much more fulfilling and enjoyable. As 2020 keeps rolling with the punches in my personal life, the last couple months have been pretty rough on my mental health. I have been taking a lot longer to... open or respond to messages than usual and I have a lot of guilt and feel very sorry about that. Taking time to care for myself and my mental health and take moments to feel the peace and be grateful for the good has been especially important lately. Thank you for your understanding. Trying to get all caught up. <3 And if you are similarly struggling - solidarity <3 - it is a tough time of year in a particularly sh*tty year. Don't be afraid to reach out or let someone know you are struggling. You aren't alone. ;

Oh my gosh.....what a couple weeks/month etc this has been! What is time during a pandemic, anyway?! Especially on maternity leave...the concept seems to have warped and I try to think of Dory and "just keep swimming".... My gracious mother in law was kind enough to let our family stay in her home while the issues at our house are being looked into. I have finally gotten the shop plants that are nice and healthy and happy from the transition set back up for your perusal. PM me for more photos or prices! Here they are, planty peeps!

Wishing I didn't have to write this.... We have recently had a mold issue in our home which required moving our family of five people (), 3 pets ('s like 'what?!'), my whole plant collection (omg) and half of our belongings out of our house temporarily. I was hoping to keep my porch shop going as I was just ul and going and don't have an easy alternative; however I am struggling to manage the temp vs. humidity and ensure proper care of the plants while I am living a...t an alternate location and I definitely want to be selling quality plants. I will be taking a week or so to ensure the rest of the crew has completed the move and is doing okay and then will be posting pics and prices up here to share what I have available! Will still be selling beautiful healthy plants!!! Pickup from Kingscourt or delivery will still be available! Please be patient with me as I get things all figured out; if you have written me I will definitely be getting back to you! Also let me know if you have had an issue with a recently purchased plant! Life has just been so busy I am a bit behind at the moment. <3 Thank you all for your support and understanding! Wooosawww Plant therapy required!!

Okay, so bear with me....first timer here.... the bigger kids and I took a video to show off the plants for sale in the shop right now since it's not always easy to see in a couple of photos. My two little helpers did awesome but by the end one was distracted, the third and youngest child was chiming in loudly from inside the house and it was getting pretty LOUD , so I wasn't even able to hear or answer my oldest who was doing a great job showing off the plants! The crazin...ess at the end is my life but omg those kids are the absolute best!!!! Enjoy this group effort, and the plants! I update stock often, let me know what you're looking for and I will always keep an eye out!! Emmett sure knows his plants!!!

**Calatheas are life!** I'm pretty sure Marantacae/prayer plants/calatheas & fam have become my favourite overall plant family. This becomes obvious if you see my plant collection. If I see one I don't have, I MUST have it and I am delighted to say I have the majority of the ones shown here. ... The pretty, almost painted looking leaves are so addicting and soothing to look at. They can be divas to care for (I buy distilled water for these lovelies, keep soil moist, humidity, medium to bright indirect light). If you give her what she wants, she is actually pretty easy going and pops out beautiful new leaves fairly frequently, all wrapped up purple until they unroll and show you their artsy leaf topside! Do you have calatheas? Love or hate them? I know they are not loved by all! Which ones do you have? Looking for a new one to add to your collection? I usually have calatheas in the shop!! Come check them out!

~ Plant Talk ~ Free plants, you say? How, you ask? Propagate! Take a few cuttings from a plant in your collection, or multiple plants. Make sure to include at least one node per cutting (where the leaf grows from the vine, where aerial roots will form and where the eventual new roots will come!). You can let it callous over to prevent bacteria/stem rot and then pop it in water or damp sphagnum moss, even damp well draining soil. Once the roots are about an inch long in ...water or moss, you can pot the cuttings to create a new baby plant from one of your mamas!! Keep the soil moist while the roots establish and then water as usual after a few weeks once you have seen new growth coming. Propagating! Helps you gain a new plant while keeping within budget and it's fun to watch the roots grow! Or gift the new plant to a friend or family member to share your beautiful plant for free! You can also cut and propagate the bottoms from long vining plants to encourage new growth and fill out the pot to be bushier.

Sorry for the hiatus and slow messaging the past few days....as if 2020 hasn't been...ahem, 2020 enough, our unexpected water leaks from the spring turned to mold and we have been trying to pack up and move out half of our house with 3 kiddos.
