Hi guys! This Wednesday we will be having our kickoff meeting of the year! Meet us after school at room 1031 from 3:40 - 4:20! For anyone who has time to spare, we will also be having one of our classic after school community clean-ups and we’d be glad to have you join us for the opportunity to earn some free volunteer hours and helping out the community! Let’s start 2018-2019 off with a bang everyone!

Are you passionate about gender equality and female empowerment? Would you like to have fun while learning self-defence for FREE from a certified trainer? Come join us at our ALL GIRLS fempower workshop on Friday, May 4 at Golden Taekwondo Academy. The workshop will run from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We will be discussing about current issues within our community pertaining to violence against women and how you can stand up for yourself during these situations. Our workshop is geared towards providing you the necessary knowledge to reach your full potentials in your community! Also, there is a lunch and goodie bag provided to all attendees. Come to our table in the front foyer on April 18/25 to pick up a bag, anyone is able to come! One full bag == one volunteer hour!

I hope you’ve noticed these bins around your classrooms near the garbage cans! Instead of tossing your finished markers and pens into the garbage, put them in here for the used stationery drive!
