Richard Robinson’s Lakeside Studio is located at the water’s edge on Dickie Lake just 1 km from the village of Baysville in what had been Richard’s dry boathouse! In the boathouse you will see a collection of some of Richard’s original oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings. Richard is a realist landscape painter who draws his inspiration from the surrounding beauty of Muskoka. Using bold palette knife and brush technique Richard creates his paintings on canvas with vibran...t colours. Over the years, Richard has preserved his clients’ Muskoka memories by capturing their cottage, home or favourite scene on canvas with a commissioned painting. Please call ahead (705 767 3000) to make an appointment. Same day appointments are often available. When visiting the studio only two people will be permitted to enter at the same time. Hand sanitizer will be available for visitors who are asked to wear a mask. Follow the ‘R Robinson Art studio’ signs from hwy. 117 onto Muskoka Rd. 51 to my studio at 988 Dickie Lake Road.
