I was shocked and saddened to hear about the events in Ottawa yesterday...and still am. We pray for Corporal Nathan Cirillo, the young soldier who was murdered, and his family. No matter where you live or who you're supporting, please make sure you get out and vote on Monday. Democracy is one of the many gifts we are blessed with here in this beautiful country.

Exercising my right (and privilege!) to vote over the weekend. Although the mail-in date has passed, you can still drop off your ballot at the town hall or vote in person on election day: October 27. Municipal politics affects you most directly - be sure to vote and make your voice heard!
