A new study at the University of Saskatchewan has shown that stretching is more effective at lowering your blood pressure than regular walking. They found that stretching large muscle groups (such as the hamstrings, chest, quadriceps or calves) would also stretch the blood vessels inside them, reducing the stiffness of the blood vessels allowing for improved blood flow. This question has become consistent with the beginning of the new year. Every 1-2 months is relatively good consistency for massages. Muscle tightness doesn't typically happen over night but it does build up over time. By having recurring appointments you prevent muscle tension from getting to a point where it affects your day to day activities.
