On June 29 2014 I put the ring pictured above on a very special person's finger. Richard, I am so happy our lives collided. It's a wonderful experience to be married to a jewellery designer. To hear all the lovely back story details of engagement proposals, wedding and anniversary plans or celebratory custom designed jewellery surprises. Richard is a master at what he does and all the years working quietly behind the scenes at his goldsmith bench brings to Brighton something ...exceptional. They say that it takes 10 years to become an expert at what you do to achieve a high degree of mastery. Richard enjoys the challenge of creating something extraordinary and detailed. He's capable of virtually anything and I've seen him raise the "wow" factor time after time. What I've enjoyed most though is his attention to the little things like making sea glass jewellery for the grandchildren, picked up recently from a walk along the beach at Presqu'ile Provincial Park. I believe I can speak for both of us that we have enjoyed becoming a part of this community. Richard enjoys working with everyone supporting your jewellery needs. I've been happy to meet up with some of you at the Pop-up-shop at Sheryl Delorme's, Special Effects Boutique, the Art on Main, Apple Fest, or holiday events. As a result of pandemic Richard is working directly with clients providing at-home pick up and delivery. This ring is designed to express flowing water, using two shades of blue topaz mixed with diamonds pave’, and set in 14kt. white gold. The centre stone is a custom cut floral design citrine, set in a handmade 14kt. yellow gold setting. The ring design itself was hand carved in wax, and cast in 14kt. white and yellow.
