On March 11, 2020, the Women's Leadership Circle of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce hosted a panel & luncheon on the subject of unconscious bias. Panelists Shannon Byrne Susko (Metronome United), Prem Gill (CreativeBC), Alden Habacon (Diversity & Inclusion Strategist), and Michele Mawhinney (Vancouver Airport Authority) joined moderator Robin Cook Bondy (KPU) for an insightful, good humoured conversation. Guests at this event learned more about identifying unconscious bias, and practical ways to mitigate its influence. This event was made possible with support from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
