Local singer/songwriter Wendy Coogan set a collection of photos to her original song My Mom. Wendy is near and dear to our hearts as her CD release party was one our first public (non-funeral) events at Richmond Reception Centre. Happy Mother’s Day to you all!

You have a story to tell but you’re not sure how to start. This storytelling workshop will help you explore a variety of media for passing along your cherished ...memories paper, audio recording, and social media are just a few examples. After a brief presentation, participants will have the opportunity to engage in storytelling activities. Participants may bring one personal item (book, photograph, jewelry, keepsake) for a prompt. Examples from the archival holdings of the SPRA will be provided. Due to low registration, the Documenting Your Life Story workshop is at risk of being canceled. To ensure that we can go ahead with this workshop, contact the museum to register. This program is free of charge and will take place in the Grande Prairie Museum community room on March 3, 2020 from 6:00 until 7:00 PM
