This month we celebrate the creativity and positivity of our Recreation teams as we recognize Therapeutic Recreation Awareness Month. Now more than ever, our teams have gone above and beyond keeping residents connected and inspired!

With Christmas a couple of days away, we are inviting our families to set up a virtual visit with their loved ones! There are spaces still available Christmas Eve 9-5 and Boxing day 1-4. Please call 519-850-5060 and ask for Recreation to book your time slot. We are offering these visits via Facebook Messenger, Facetime or Zoom!

Staff and residents are supporting the "HOLY ROLLER" tank restoration located in Victoria Park by participating in a Valentine's Day gift basket fundraiser.

Today the residents participated in #Plaidurday which is a worldwide celebration of plaid. It occurs annually on the first Friday of October. Look good, feel good, and spread some cheer, because we’re all connected by a common thread.

On October 1st we recognized National Seniors Day, an occasion for all Canadians to appreciate and celebrate older adults. Operating in London, Waterloo, Mississauga and Dorchester, Sifton’s Retirement communities are focused on providing area seniors with the highest quality wellness services, dining experiences and engaging social events and activities. Join us in celebrating an important senior in your life!

Every Wednesday in the month of September the residents participated in "Where's Wilhelmina Wednesday" (Waldo's' mother). Wilhelmina would hide on our main floor and residents would try to find her, then join her for a cup of tea. The residents had so much fun!
