Jenna is an associate with Richter Law Professional Corporation. Jenna has a B.A. degree from York University with a double major in Law and Society and Sociology, and an LL.B with honours from the University of Leicester. She articled for a prominent criminal lawyer in Toronto. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and joined our team shortly thereafter. Jenna’s practice areas include Criminal Law and Family Law. She is also a Notary Public. She has several years of expe...rience working in both of these areas of the law with prominent senior lawyers in Toronto. Prior to being called to the bar she worked closely under senior family law lawyers drafting pleadings and appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice to assist in case conferences, settlement conferences and motions. She currently continues to appear at the Superior Court of Justice to argue assiduously for her respective clients. Her goal is to meet the needs of her individual clients in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. With regards to her Criminal Law experience, Jenna has worked closely with senior lawyers drafting trial applications, researching case law, preparing for both preliminary hearings and trials in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, along with meeting with clients and Crown Attorney’s on a regular basis. As an articling student, Jenna worked on a range of offences which include simple assaults to organized crime and attempted murders. Jenna currently regularly appears before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice to speak on criminal matters, including conducting pre-trials, issue resolutions meetings with Crown Attorneys, bail hearings, bail review hearings, preliminary hearings and trials. Client’s appreciate Jenna because she vigorously endeavours to advocate on behalf of them and assist them during difficult times. Jenna strives to continue to protect her clients’ rights and approaches every case in a tireless effort to ensure the best possible result.
