From my family to yours, wishing you a Merry Christmas!
The Premier has appointed me as his liaison to Washington state. As we work through the challenges related to this pandemic and through the post-pandemic recovery, there will be many opportunities to collaborate with our neighbours to the south. I look forward to building on my experience as Vice President of the Pacific Northwest Economic Region and to continued cooperation on common issues related to economic development, high speed rail, daylight saving, and more.
Enjoying a warm, cozy evening by the fire writing Christmas cards. I am reminded of how important connection to each other is, especially during the Holidays. While we can’t gather with our families this year as we usually do, there are still many ways we can stay in touch. Digital options are great...but, there is always something special about sending and receiving mail:)
The pandemic has impacted all of our lives. Each day I continue to be inspired by the kindness, care and respect we have all shown for each other during these difficult times. While the holidays may look a little different this year, there are many ways we can still celebrate while keeping everyone safe. We are in this together. This holiday season make sure to: stay local ... plan holiday dinners for your household or core bubble only hold virtual gift unwrappings and celebrations partake in virtual religious services go for a walk with your household to check out neighbourhood light displays drive-in events and light displays are OK Santa can still visit postpone in-person celebrations reschedule staff holiday get-togethers postpone all non-essential travel postpone any out-of-province travel See more
We couldn't be in Victoria, but we were still officially sworn in today. I'm looking forward to working with all 56 of my colleagues!

It was a pleasure to host John Horgan in Port Moody today. We had great conversations about heath care and Eagle Ridge Hospital followed by visits with several local business owners. We are hiring 7000 new front-line health care workers to care for our seniors and most vulnerable in long-term care, and launching a new medical school to help expand our health care workforce. We are helping small businesses through a tax credit for hiring new staff and providing grants for 15,0...00 hard hit businesses, protecting 200,000 jobs. These are only a few examples of the things we're doing to keep BC moving forward.

A quick visit to Burrard Thermal with George Heyman. This site with its access to clean high voltage electricity and access to the water is a prime location for nurturing clean tech and clean energy innovation to help combat climate change. This is just one example of how a BC NDP government would tackle climate change while growing a strong sustainable green economy. #bcelxn2020 #portmoody #coquitlam #anmore #belcarra #bcndp

I am so grateful to live in such an amazing community as Port Moody-Coquitlam. From my family to yours, we wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Even before the pandemic, people were struggling to rent and live in BC and the pressures created by COVID-19 have only made it harder. Many are dealing with reduced hours or work or even the loss of their income altogether. We need to keep helping renters get through the pandemic and make life more affordable over the long term.
We are at Suter Brook until 3 today! Come say hello.

I got into politics to fight for the things that are important to so many of us. To keep building on the great work we’ve been doing, we need to win this election. Any amount goes a long way as we work to get the word out.... We can’t afford to let the Liberals win Port Moody - Coquitlam. Click below to donate today
