Hiya! So here’s what mine looked like and it is delicious! I would most definitely make this again and most likely will, once we’ve eaten all of this one. The following recipe is from #cookeatrepeat by #nigellalawson The one that I made is a bit different as it’s from Nigella Christmas. I have customized this recipe again; instead of using prunes, I used dried figs, I love the delicate crunch the tiny seeds provide. The one I made is also not a vegan version as it has 2 eg...gs in it. I also omitted the ground ginger (I didn’t have any). Next time I make this I would add another tsp of grated fresh ginger but I will most likely make the new vegan version. Cheezy Bacon Wheels They were quite yummy, I used 2 small squares of puff pastry dough, probably 12x12. I rolled it out a tad bigger and used 4 slices of bacon per sheet. That made them quite rich and I couldn’t taste the oregano at all, as I lightly sprinkled it on each. I would definitely say 1/2 tsp per, next time and I would also do only 2 slices of bacon and use double the tomato paste and omit the purée. I’d even chop up some sundried tomatoes and add them because I love the intense tangy sweet tomato flavour they deliver. I think I might even try cutting thicker wheels, mine were about an inch and a half. Those delectable dark spots are super savoury, crispy parmasean bits. So yummy! Here it is...this delicious, deep magenta tangle of noodles with viridescent flecks of fresh cilantro makes me so happy with their vibrant glistening punch of colour! Nigella used spaghetti, I used linguine. I added a sprinkle of Flor de Sal which is the Portuguese version of Fleur de Sel, which translates into flower of salt.
