In a world where you can be anything, be kind Today is #pinkshirtday which is all about focusing on working together and treating everyone with dignity and respect. We think that is something that looks great on everyone! In a world full of so many options, I hope you choose to be kind! ... Love from Mick and all the horses!

Yesterday was dental day for the herd! A big thanks to Fort Macleod Vet Clinic for coming out and making sure everyone's pearly whites are in tip top shape! And if you have horses at home, here is your reminder that horses should have their teeth checked once a year and floated every 2 or so years depending on age and condition!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall - who is the prettiest mare of all? Clover just can't get enough of the pretty mare in the barn! She also can't quite understand why the mare never seems to come out of the box

Miss Vara sure feels pretty in pink! Vara is a wonderful horse. She knows what she likes and she will tell you if you're wrong. She is pretty much the polar opposite of Casper, who is the typical easy-going, do whatever gelding. Vara isn't mean or nasty, she just knows she is a good looking mare and expects you to bring your A game each time you ride. No lazy, hard handed, kicking, pulling, sloppy riders for her.... It can be intimidating for some riders to work with a horse who will tell them off when they are wrong. But I can assure you, you will never learn to be a better rider until you ride an honest horse like Vara. So much love for this mare

As Vara puts it, things might not always work out as planned, but as long as there is a high likelihood of horse cookies at ths end, its probably gonna be alright. I was hoping to be starting lessons back up in Feb, but given the circumstances decide to ease off the gas a little bit and not try to rush back into things. Im just going to wait and see how the phased reopening goes and hopefully then I can get a plan in place to start again in March. Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding! Hope you are all well
