Return to Normal Operations With the winding down of police operations in downtown, the Club has been informed that it can in fact resume normal operations as of tomorrow, February 22nd. We have been informed that supporting local businesses is considered a lawful reason to be in the Secured Area. The Secured Area (aka ‘Red Zone’) has been reduced to:... Bronson to the Rideau Canal Somerset West to Parliament Hill Further, we have been informed that the on ramps and exits to and from the 417 are being reopened by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO). That being said, please allow yourself extra time to arrive at the Club before your game. Looking forward to getting back at it folks!

Closure Announcement Out of an abundance of caution, and due to the fact that the Club is located in the current ‘Red Zone’ identified by Police, the Executive has decided to close the Club for all games and programs today, Friday, February 18th and tomorrow, Saturday, February 19th. The Club was already scheduled to be closed Sunday, and Monday for Family Day. The club will reopen for regular games on Tuesday, February 22.... Please email [email protected] for more information.

Happy Friday Curlers! Please make sure you give yourself lots of time to get to your scheduled games this weekend. With the Ottawa Police creating a "Secured Area" downtown, there will be 417 exit closures for the foreseeable future. At this time, we don't know when the closures will end, but will provide updates as they are made available. Enjoy the snow!

Our first make-up day is going well despite our friends downtown. If you are curling this afternoon at 5 or 7 p.m. you will want to give yourself more time to arrive for your game as traffic is nuts! Also, a shout out to our Board Members for volunteering this weekend to monitor our parking lot to ensure that only members are parking. This Board is the picture of volunteerism and Team Work!

We're back, baby! Yep. You read that right! With the Ontario government moving Ottawa into the "Orange-Restrict" zone the RCC will resume league play Tuesday, February 16th.
