Mrs. McCourt is organizing a package to be sent, with letters to members of the Canadian Armed Forces from students at Rideau DHS. If you would like to send a letter, please come to guidance to pick up the holiday stationary that you can write your letter on. For each letter written, Mrs. McCourt will grant hour of Community Volunteer hours (max 15). When finished, simply return your letter on the approved stationary, and she will send your letter on your behalf. No envelopes or stamps are required. And, please remember to write a brief description of why you are nominating that pers...on. If you see someone doing a random act of kindness, grab a piece of paper, jot down their name, and a brief description of the kindness and drop that off in the ballot box outside of Mrs. Bright’s office. Starting today, names will be drawn daily for a sweet treat!! Are you someone that wants to succeed in life? Turns out being nice is also a way to get ahead! Studies show that compassionate people people who care about others, are more likely to succeed in business and in life.
