Because we all care. This month, our certification body, PMBIA is taking initiative to contribute to the MTB Equity Fund, the goal of which is to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the mountain bike world. PMBIA is committed to inviting people who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) to certify and join our mountain bike instructor community worldwide. The initial goal is raise money to fill two courses in B.C. next season with aspiring BIPOC Instruc...tors and Guides,12 in total, to help bring more diversity into our MTB community and create opportunities for those who might not be able to attend otherwise. (BTW, the courses are not limited to BIPOC riders in B.C. It’s open to riders across the country!) Ride Ottawa has donated one of the course fee to help reach this goal. We’re only telling you this because YOU made this possible. We feel incredibly grateful to have so many wonderful supporters in our local community.
