I’ve been waiting on positing this, I still can’t find the words to describe how honoured I am to have been able to surprise my dad with this gift. This man is ...the definition of a father and the definition of a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces. He has spent 30+ years with the CAF, and has Deployed with American troops overseas. With zero complaints. This past month he was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer. To say this man is a chief is an understatement, He is also an amazing father, and husband. He has provided myself and my siblings with incredible teaching moments and making sure we never missed a 6am hockey practice. He has been my personal hero since day one and forever will be my role model. I am still in loss for words to explain how proud I am of his dedication and hard work! I love you dad. End grain miter joints are notoriously weak. But also gave me the option to use some yellow heart for contrast and strength! What do you guys think? Anyone guess what I’m making? #diy #walnut #yellowheart #buylocal
