RidgeTech celebrated our 5 year anniversary by hosting a party for all of our team members including great food, fun games, and recognition awards. Everyone was able to enjoy an amazing lunch while participating in a bean bag toss tournament, playing foosball, or testing their skills at virtual reality racing! We also took advantage of this opportunity to recognize and congratulate a group of 7 employees who received their 5 year anniversary awards, marking their own milestone within the company. Celebrating RidgeTech’s anniversary as well as our employees’ anniversaries together as a team was an important way to recognize and appreciate the success we’ve experienced to date, and to collectively share in the excitement for the future.

RidgeTech Automation is excited to announce that we are celebrating our 5 Year Anniversary this week! We owe a huge thank you to our clients, our suppliers and our amazing team for helping us reach such a significant milestone. Five years ago we stood in the middle of an empty garage with our first capital purchases - a handful of used laptops, some desks and an old laser printer. With hard work and welcome partnerships from the industrial community, we have grown into a t...eam of over 30 people with hundreds of successfully completed projects. We truly appreciate and are so thankful for the support and the efforts of everyone we work with on a daily basis. We look forward to building even further on the partnerships and collaborations we have established over the past 5 years, and we are eager to support our clients for many years to come. If the technologies and projects we have seen over the past 5 years are any indication, the future of industrial automation is bright. Once again, thank you all for your support!

RidgeTech Automation Inc. is pleased to be recognized as a member of the Manufacturing Automation Category of Waterloo Region’s AutoTech Ecosystem. WaterlooEDC (Waterloo Economic Development Corporation) produced the AutoTech Ecosystem Infographic to illustrate the level of innovation in the automotive industry that exists in the Waterloo Region. Everything from vehicle navigation and sensor technology to security and driver safety, including innovation in the manufacturing... processes that build and assemble vehicles. RidgeTech has been very active in the automotive manufacturing space for many years focusing on the plant control systems and robotic assembly processes. We are extremely proud to be sharing the spotlight with so many highly regarded names in the AutoTech space and we are excited for what the future holds for the automotive industry in this region. Last week RidgeTech attended a hugely successful P4E Employment Job Fair at the Manulife Sportsplex in Waterloo. We enjoyed speaking with so many grads and potential grads about our work in the Industry and employment opportunities within RidgeTech. A big thank you goes out to The Blondes for the design and refresh of our new marketing materials.

A big thank you goes out to the team at Abbey Packaging Equipment Ltd. who provided us with a great lunch and learn yesterday on their metal detection and x-ray technology offering. We will actually be using several metal detectors provided by Abbey on a pharmaceutical project that we are currently designing and their support throughout this project has been greatly appreciated. Their new demo trailer looks fantastic and having the equipment available at our facility answered a lot of questions in a short period of time. Thank you Abbey!

The robotics competition has 31 teams from across Ontario, comprised of 25 or more high-school students aged 14-18. The teams have partnered with some of the world's leading technology companies to design and b...uild custom robots. Each team has only 6 weeks to build their robot to compete in high intensity robo-sports. "We are thrilled to be able to catch a glimpse of what the future of our industry is going to look like, says Mike Wood, President of RidgeTech.
