Quick evening play with this big girl she's getting the hang of learning!
Change in posture for B today :). Earlier this week she really needed to be moving her feet to find any relaxation. Today she was able to stand still and be relaxed. Her curiosity came out to play after that. Really love this filly.
Somebody started school today Beam Me Up Charlie had her first foray into the arena. She is a big stout filly already at coming 2, so with all the growing she has been doing she has been living her best life with the herd. This is her first time out since Summer except to have her feet done and while it was all very exciting to her, overall she did very well. She loves her guy ... oh, and sand is life
Happy Holidays!
Perfect way to spend an evening!
How we feel about this Fall weather!
Bella Gris and Lemon Gin enjoying a beautiful quiet morning.
Beam Me Up Charlie enjoying a warm afternoon.
Slowly but surely we are making progress! Clay base is in, and the top layer of sand is going on...next up ... lighting! The Ranch is going green and will be installing solar panels soon, when this is done we will be lighting the arena via LED!
We are a facility that is predominantly selected for the miles of trails, if that is your jam...this is your place. But it was a majorly wet summer, and we realized...we need an indoor space! So...things are happening at the ranch!
Lemmy (Lemon Gin) not entirely sure what we think about this fleece drying Mom off she did try to pull it off.
Frank Masters spent his adult years here on Right Hand Ranch (formerly known as "The Homeplace") working with our Children's Great Grandfather on the farm and with the cattle. He was a steward of the land and cared deeply for the valley, maintaining and creating riding trails for the use of friends, to share in his love of the horse. A true Cowboy. We grew close with Frank when we took over the Homestead, and will remember always the stories, history, memories, and knowled...ge that we were lucky enough to have Frank impart to us over our years here. He was laid to rest this year, and there was no better way to remember him than naming the most beautiful of the trails he loved so much in the Valley for him (he built beautiful log benches along it to stop, rest, and take in nature). When you love something so much, you become a part of it. Introducing "Franks Trail". See more
