Item: Lounge sweater Size: 2-4 T Riley : 3.5 years old We were playing downstairs today, and I asked Riley to pick out a fabric so I could make her a shirt to pass the time. ... It's freezing and I don't want to adventure today!! She picked some low end sweater fabric that I had stashed away, that was extremely difficult to sew with. I had to redo the neckline three times and make it thicker to make it work. Now I see why that fabric sat in a cubby for the past 3 years lol. It was a good reminder as to why I pretty much only so with a really high quality fabric!!

A few more items to help create a stock at Chicken Little. A few newborn outfits. On the super cold days I would take the expensive Merino wool socks that people gifted me, put them on baby and then put these footed leggings on top! You get warm feet and you don't have to worry about losing those tiny little Merino socks!!!

Bikes seem to be the theme of the week. Had 4 orders for bikes just yesterday!! Running out of bike fabric and can't find any more anywhere. I'm considering having a local artist design something ....

It's been SUCH a busy week. I had 5 lovely ladies preorder their cable sweaters. The fabric arrived and they are complete ( except one more to go) . This was a big project. Did you know all women's bodies shapes and sizes are different? I know it's shocking! So each of these are sewn to everyone's measurements and altered as needed after. ... Just because you have wide hips doesn't mean you have an hourglass figure with a large chest. Or just because your bust is large, you don't necessarily have a small or big waist! That's why I love making my own clothes. I am 2 different sizes melded together. Some of these women were 4 different sizes mashed together!! Can't wait to see you all in the wild with your new sweaters. The cable fabric is almost all gone, I have one left to sew. It's quite difficult to find in stock right now and many companies aren't restocking till the new year ( from the Canadian quality retailers I trust). If you are interested in having one made please pm me. If I get enough to make another order in the new year I will! I may have enough for some kids stuff after my last project is done.

So I have a few Fabrics that I have found over the years that remind me of friends. I stash them away and basically hope for them to get pregnant and have a baby one day, and hopefully they have the correct gender LOL. All the stars aligned and it finally happened after hoarding this fabric for about 2 and 1/2 years hahaha. This little one is about 4 days old pictured here in a newborn shirt and leggings. ... I had to take a break from all my sewing to quickly sew this up. Can you tell that I absolutely love newborns? Lol!!! There's just something so miraculous and magical about labor and delivery and those first few days of seeing your tiny human that you've been growing for months.

Adventure Time!! Another grow with me Hoody custom order. I can't even tell you how many hoodies I've made the past 10 days for custom orders!!!

Newest Round of Adult Cable Sweaters! This round went faster as most of the ladies had similar meaurements, and almost everyone chose the new tree fabric which I discovered while ordering the cable fabric. To those wondering if there are trees left over there are!! I'll be updating the fabric album later tonight. I'll be spending a week sewing kids long sleeves and hoodies for Little Plum now.... Then I'll be getting back to the custom orders waiting in queue. I'll be posting a timeline in terms of Christmas order deadlines pretty soon. And what date you'll need your orders in, to ensure you have them by Christmas!

A few more kids customs orders I finished off before starting this next round of adult sweaters! After this round of sweaters, I'll be taking a week off custom order to try and sew some kids long sleeves and hoodies to stock up Little Plum . They've been seriously neglected by me this past month! Thank you to all my amazing customers this month keeping me SO busy!!!

Hey guys, As all my customers know I always have everybody pay for their item in advance so that I'm not out any work and fabric. Of course the ONE time I decided to take a leap of faith on someone that said they couldn't pay till the following day. I decided to order the fabric for her, as it was selling so quickly online from the retailer and I didn't want her to be disappointed. ... So her custom sweater spot has come available if anyone is interested. She was the only one who ordered the burgundy- it is the same color pictured here on the sweater I made for myself. That's absolutely beautiful and would match well with many Fabrics that I have. Here is a photo. Or if you would like a children's item made with this fabric it is also available for that purpose. If I can make this fabric go to use and be ordered by somebody this week then I won't lose money on ordering her fabric. I wasn't sure whether or not to give the details and why the spot was available but I think it's important for my customers to know that I am just a single person running this business, and that there's a reason why I have chosen to always invoice in advance before spending time on an order. I know life happens, and things come up. This was a great lesson to me and has really solidified that I should always have people pre-pay, and not make exceptions.
