The Scripture reveals God, theology is our response to that revelation, either we can add or subtract on what was revealed, and that spells much between truth and error. Theology is a form of worship. Right theology honors God while bad theology dishonors Him. Subtracting is diminishing His person and His work while adding to the Scriptures, though seems pious, like claiming that our theology gives Him the most credit and honor regarding our salvation or magnifies His sovereignty to the point of making Him self-contradictory is the same thing, claiming that our theology is so God-centered will never change the fact, it is still a perversion of who He truly is. But many seems charmed by this seeming piety, may God help us to truly perceive who He truly is. Only as the Scriptures has revealed Him

No sacred cows, no doctrine or theologian is exempt form being examined in the light of the Scriptures. Be careful with hijackers who claim that their systematic is synonymous with the Gospel but takes you to another Gospel

Many equate their interpretation of the Gospel as the gospel itself claiming that their systematic is the most faithful to the Scriptures and gives God the most glory. Though it is not as the same in meaning than what is plainly stated. When the Scripture plainly states that Jesus died for the whole world but they say that the text means Jesus died only for the elect and claims that it is the interpretation that is best and glorifies God most. The whole Scripture depicts God's dealing with man as moral beings, that He deals with us as responsible (RESPONSE-ABLE) beings. The text clearly imply that we have the ability to either believe or reject the Gospel, Some say that total depravity means total inability to respond to God's Word without God over riding our will and have that mysterious operation in us to make us believe. But the text clearly never imply that man is unable to respond in faith upon hearing the Gospel. Man has the ability to recognize his wretchedness in light of the Gospel of Christ, and he has the ability to confess his need for Christ by the conviction of the Spirit
