I took a short break from social media this week for a couple of reasons. The first, was to take some time to rest after the doors closed to the Side Hustle Academy last week. I’m so excited to start teaching on Monday and have 20 amazing women joining me on the inside! But, it was also an intense month and I needed to take some time to just be a mum for a few days. The second reason I took a break, was to spend some time working on my business instead of working in it. By ha...ving time to focus on the strategy and refining what Rise Mama does, helped me to make some decisions on where it needs to go next. One of those decisions, was about making a change to the brand and the depth of work that I’ve been doing. I talk a lot about recognizing when it’s time to pivot in your business with my students, and like so many of my fellow small business owners trying to navigate life during these times, you need to do what is best for your business and for your customers. I’m excited and nervousbut mostly excited to be rolling out the new direction and brand this week. But more than anything, I am always deeply appreciative to the amazing women who allow me the privilege everyday of helping them to build a career they are proud of.
