Rise Physiotherapy and Performance 27.12.2020

Hey friends - As allied health professionals, physiotherapists are permitted to stay open under the new restrictions provided by the Alberta government. We want to let you know all the ways we are continuing to keep you safe during your physio appointments. We use Health Canada approved cleaning products; we sanitize between clients; and we space your appointments appropriately. We have approved PPE and we fill out a covid screen before each shift. We also check in with eac...h of you regarding symptoms and signs by e-mailing you our covid-19 screening tool prior to all appointments. We continue to ask that if you have ANY symptoms, please remain home and reschedule. We take this responsibility seriously. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are always here to support you and all aspects of your health and wellness. #RiseUpYEG

Deadlifts are bad for your back. FALSE! - not having strong and mobile hips is bad for your back. Deadlifts are just a really cool way to load up a hip hinge pattern (really anytime you bend to pick things up from the floor). And believe it or not - they can be absolutely valuable when it comes to treating your back pain! @shorelinegold #RiseUpYEG #Risephysio #yegphysio #prehab #rehab #movebetter #yeg #deadlifts
