I started my yoga journey in 2016 and knew after maybe two classes I wanted to share what I was feeling with everyone who was open to learning. I trained in 2018 at Yogaspace, one of the oldest yoga houses in Toronto. I had planned to do more trainings in 2020 but unfortunately the universe has said otherwise! Music moves me ... Every mood, moment and memory can be denoted with a song. All of my yoga soundtracks are meticulously chosen to inspire you and speak to the movements we are practicing together. Yoga literally means union. To unify ones self to ones true self. But it also means communion, in the current universal climate of separation we need yoga more then ever! With every class I teach, I feel elation in being able to bring people together to teach them a practise that not only unifies them individually but will ultimately unify them all as one. As of Monday Morning our Yogahouse will be closed once again, for the 3rd time this year. This has been, hands down, the WORST roller coaster I have ever been on in my ENTIRE life and I seriously want my money back. I give 100% credit for the resiliency of our Yogahouse to the fierce determination of our teachers and the ride or die support from our community- that's YOU REAL TALK: moving forward, you really DO need to find a replacement for your in-person Yoga, pila...tes and FITcamp training. Whether it’s working from home, or just being indoors meshing it together. Truthfully, struggling to find that separation has already began to take its toll on my mental health. Fridays are keeping me together, lol. Knowing, that I get to guide a wonderful community through a practice, and set that stage for their weekend is definitely refreshing.
