If you were one of the hundreds of thousands of people who spent more time in nature while social distancing this summer, you probably have a licensed hunter, a...ngler, or trapper to thank! 30% of all hunting and fishing license sales in Saskatchewan go toward the acquisition and management of fish and wildlife habitat through the Fish and Wildlife Development fund. These license sales are the only additional contribution to the FWDF, making them them critical to conservation in our province. Let’s help educate the people of Saskatchewan about the amazing contributions of hunters, anglers and trappers. Publicly share this post for a chance to win* 1 of 5 SWF camo buffs! More prizes to come! Draws will be made Nov 16. Remember to send us your camo pictures! (*Must be a resident of SK to enter)
Hey residents of Saskatoon, when you buy a membership with a local wildlife federation that is a member of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, your membership fees go to many great programs such as the Hannon Creek Educational Centre. If you are interested in joining the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation's branch in Saskatoon, the River City Wildlife Federation, please contact us at [email protected]. #saskwildlife

Lest We Forget Lakes, islands and bays in northern Saskatchewan bear the names of individuals who lost their lives in military conflict. Over 90,000 Saskatchewa...n residents enlisted in the Second World War. For the nearly 4,000 who never returned, the Government of Saskatchewan’s GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program, initiated in 1947, was created as an appropriate lasting tribute. #ExploreSask #SaskNice #ExploreCanada #CanadaNice
