It's pretty hard to get lost up here this time of year in a boat.

Things are slow freezing up this year and we still only have about 3 inches of snow. We have shifted our focus for now from surf to turf and as Cam is more of a meat hunter than a horn hunter we were able to get a couple of young bucks for the freezer. Nice weather for sitting on a stand. Just around 32 degrees. This little six pointer doesn't look like much here but he will be a favorite at the table. Very nice fall and early winter in Sioux Lookout.

Trying to get used to doing this. Sorry it has not happened before this. Have closed things down for the season and have done a bit of fishing and hunting with Ann. Did a day of fishing and scouting for moose north of town one day and picked up a few nice pike and a bunch of Walleye. Don't think I fished in November before but it wasn't a bad day. We have had a nice ending to a wet fall, and I don't mean I fell in a puddle and everything is o.k. now. I will try and get some other items posted here as time goes on to get in the swing of things and keep you all posted as to what goes on here.
