River Valley Vision Ltd COVID-19 Policies Effective May 8, 2020 Good news! We can now see patients for routine eyecare and we are ready to do so effective Wednesday, May 13, 2020. We are taking all necessary precautions to protect our patients, staff members, and doctors as required by the New Brunswick Association of Optometrists and the New Brunswick Department of Public Health. Listed below are our efforts:... Patients, staff members, or doctors who have symptoms of COVID-19, have been outside of the Atlantic bubble in the last 14 days, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 will not be permitted to enter the office. They are to call 811 and self-isolate immediately as per the New Brunswick Department of Public Health. Only patients with appointments will be permitted to enter the office. The door will be locked at all times. NO WALK-IN traffic for any reason will be allowed. If you do not have an appointment, please call: 328-9335 (Woodstock), 276-4879 (Florenceville-Bristol), or 273-6808 (Perth-Andover) to book. Patients who arrive for appointments are to wait in their vehicles, call: 328-9335 (Woodstock), 276-4879 (Florenceville-Bristol), or 273-6808 (Perth-Andover), and wait for further instructions from a staff member before entering the building. This is to minimize the number of patients in the office. Wearing a mask is required of all patients, staff members and doctors. If you have an appointment, please enter the office alone unless you require a caregiver (e.g.: child, person with mobility issues or dementia). Please leave all unnecessary objects in your vehicle (food, drinks, books, tablets etc.) Upon entering the office, each patient will sanitize their hands. When physical distancing is not possible, plexiglass barriers will be in place and staff members and doctors will wear face shields. Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the office. Common surfaces will be disinfected between uses. Frames in the dispensary will be sanitized after each handling. Our Opticians will provide one-on-one service. In order to decrease the amount of time spent inside the office, several tasks and services will be done over the telephone. Your patience and understanding are appreciated during this unprecedented time. Your safety is our priority and we are making every effort to ensure this.
Are you a contact lens wearer? Do you recycle? We have a partnership with Bausch and Lomb which allows us to send your contact lens plastic blisters, foil tops and contact lens itself to be recycled You can stop by and pick up a recycling bag or fill your own Ziplock style bag! Bring them to us and we will take care of the rest!

Is mask wearing making your eyes dry too?
