This years photo draw giveaway winner was Carol. Carol chose a self-standing 4 tier, stained in western red. Side walls were requested and installed. We really like this look, so we will be adding side walls as an available option to our self-standing 2, 3 and 4 tier planters!

When you are busy building planters, but your littlest demands to be pushed on the swings... you stop what you are doing and you push her on the swing!

Check out this custom build we delivered today! :) This build offers both a wide variety of growing possibilities, while providing privacy for our customers in their backyard patio / greenspace. The complex has an open concept for all individual owners, each owner has their own space, but those spaces lack privacy. This corner privacy planter sits on locking casters wheels and was finished in western red stain... just look at those knots and the wood grain!!! <3 The inside was finished with a poly liner and fabric liner. The customer required that the two sections move apart from each other in order to maintenance the patio. Wing nuts hold the planters tightly together and allow for easy separation when needed. We LOVE the way this build turned out!

Today was a bit of a mixed bag... after a stain rag caught fire and burned over 30 lattice boards (which were just stained!) and the table saw kicked the bucket (only a few years old) we began the day behind schedule, to put it nicely. BUT after a good laugh (because it was that or stew about it) and new saw purchase... we are back on track! Silver lining... this new saw can carve out planter legs like a knife through butter!

Self-Standing 3 tier planters, a raised planter, accent planters, a 2 tier planter and a custom raised planter.

This custom project consisted of custom sized elevated planters and a work table tied in with connecting trim. Access to a hose spigot in the second elevated planter and fire escape clearance underneath the work table, also needed to be taken into consideration during this build. Shimmed due to uneven ground, the ground can be leveled, or left as is and the shims can be hidden with gravel. This build was left natural. We can't wait to see this planted!

This custom 3ft x 8ft is a larger version of our signature raised planter. We love the way it turned out! Poly and fabric liners on the inside, left natural on the outside. Supports hidden underneath help distribute weight and ensure stability.

This build was a lot of fun and we were so happy that our customers were happy with the end result. Each section of this build needed to be able to pull apart for cleaning and maintenance of the deck/building as well as fit in the elevator in order to get it to it's location. In addition there were railing bump outs and drains that needed to be built around. Typically when building large projects wherein the planters butt up against each other to make one cohesive unit, we ti...e everything in with long trim strips and caps that run the span of the entire build. We were unable to do this with this particular build due to the fact that it needed to be able to come apart a few times per year. It was a challenge, but everything came together nicely in the end.
