Testing was completed Wednesday on the mall. Now we wait foe results and the occupancy permit. We are ready to go and will be open the day we can. We are very disappointed that we had to cancel the appointments that we had just made a week or so ago but we have had no choice. Unfortunately our hands are tied and we are waiting just as you are. WE ARE OPEN!!!!! Thank you all for your patience. We will be in the office most days from 8-4. There are still some challenges as the main floor of the mall is one big construction area. You can access us through the mall entrance next to shoppers and head straight upstairs and down the hallway. Unfortunately there is no wheel chair access at the moment as the elevator parts are not readily available and this will be novemberish until the parts are in. Pam is working thr...ough our list of patients who have reached out during this ordeal so expect to hear from her soon. Good evening everyone. I Know you are all looking for some answers on when we are reopening and I truly wish we already were but they are still having issues with energizing the Rivercity Center due to the flooding. There have been delays getting parts and then delays on inspections. This is all beyond our control. We are frustrated waiting for answers as well. Despite rumour you might have heard we are looking at days or weeks not months or years .... The temporary power was inspected Friday and unfortunately did no pass but it sounds like there is a solution. This was the update from the landlord today Temporary Power - Second Floor The second-floor temporary power was inspected by the RMWB and has failed inspection as there are components within the electrical distribution that were impacted by the flood and the means of hooking up the temporary power is through these affected parts. The RMWB has instead suggested an alternate route that City Wide is now working on diligently. Please bear with us a little longer as we work to have this alternate power distribution hooked up ASAP. I can assure you that once power is restored we will only be a few days to reopen and we can’t wait to see you. We are excited to get back to providing required treatments to our patients. The Rivercity Mall is still having electrical issues following the flood and we will open as soon as possible. As we head into phase 1 recovery roll out we will soon be able to start scheduling for all dental services. There are new guidelines and procedures to follow so unfortunately your dental experience may not look quite the same as you are used to. The quality and customer service you have come to expect and enjoy at RiverCity Dental clinic will continue as you remember. Dental clinics are available to reopen on May 14th, however, the Rivercity mall is still dealing with iss...ues caused by the 100 year flood we just experienced. The mall currently still has no power so we can not open tomorrow but we will be working behind the scenes, as we have through all of this, to provide you safe and exemplary service as repairs permit us to open.
